Mercenarism


2. Mercenarism under this Law is understood as:

2.1) a set of actions by individuals, groups of persons and organizations aimed at planning, organizing, preparing and committing acts intended to carry out recruitment, use, training, financing and other material support of mercenaries;

2.2) the actions of mercenaries participating in armed conflicts, military operations and terrorist acts, as well as in other actions specified in paragraphs 1.2 - 1.3 of this article;

2.3) the organization of armed formations composed of mercenaries for participation in armed conflicts;

2.4) organizational, informational or other assistance in planning, preparation or implementation of actions aimed at carrying out recruitment, use, training and financing of mercenaries, as well as participation of mercenaries in armed conflicts, military operations and terrorist acts, as well as in other actions specified in paragraphs 1.2 - 1.3 of this article;

2.5) Mercenary activities cannot include the training of foreign citizens in state military educational institutions of the State in accordance with international treaties and agreements.

During the training of foreign citizens in the State's military educational institutions, their involvement in academic and training activities that go beyond the educational process and are practically aimed at preparing mercenaries is prohibited.
