Presidium of MAC
5. The Presidium of the Maritime Arbitration Commission (MAC) is headed by the Chairman of the Commission.

The Presidium of the MAC considers matters within its jurisdiction as provided in this Regulation, analyzes arbitral practice, examines issues relating to dissemination of information about the MAC, its international relations and other aspects of the Commission's activities. The responsible secretary of the MAC participates in meetings of the Presidium with consultative vote, and keeps minutes of the meeting. Decisions of the Presidium are adopted by a majority vote provided that at least five members of the Presidium, including the Chairman of the Presidium, participate in the voting. The Presidium of the MAC may delegate part of its functions to the Chairman of the MAC.
