General Provisions
The basis of the legal regime of reserve lands is article 103 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation.
According to Article 103 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation, reserve lands include lands owned by the state or municipal property and not allocated to citizens or legal entities, except for land of the land redistribution fund formed in accordance with Article 80 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation.
The use of reserve lands is allowed after their reclassification into another category, except in cases where reserve lands are included within the boundaries of hunting grounds, in cases of work related to the use of subsoil resources on such lands, and other cases provided for by federal laws.
