Restitution


restitution - a form of material international legal liability of a state committing an act of aggression or another internationally unlawful act, consisting in the obligation of this state to eliminate or reduce the material damage caused to another state by restoring the previous condition, in particular by returning property looted and unlawfully removed from the territory of another state occupied by its military forces;
