Court Documents


1. Registered ships, except those specified in paragraph 9 of this article, must have the following ship documents on board:

1) certificate of ownership of the ship;

2) certificate of the right to sail under the State flag of the Russian Federation;

3) certificate of seaworthiness of the ship;

(as amended by Federal Law No. 131-FZ dated July 28, 2012)

4) list of crew members (ship's muster roll), compiled by the ship's master;

5) ship's logbook (watchkeeping logbook or unified watchkeeping logbook), engine room logbook (for a ship with a mechanical engine, operated by the ship's crew without combining positions);

6) ship sanitary certificate;

7) unified inspection book for ships;

8) certificate of prevention of pollution from ships by oil, sewage and garbage;

9) license for a ship radio station;

10) certificate or document specifying the minimum crew complement for a vessel;

11) classification certificate;

(item 11 introduced by the Federal Law dated 28.07.2012 No. 131-FZ)

1. Vessels subject to state registration, except for those specified in paragraph 1 of article 27 of this Code, must have the following ship documents:

1) certificate (temporary certificate) of right to sail under the State Flag of the Russian Federation;

(in the version of the Federal Law dated 23.04.2012 No. 36-FZ)

2) certificate of ownership of a vessel;

3) passenger certificate (for passenger vessels);

4) measurement certificate;

5) cargo mark certificate;

6) certificate of oil pollution prevention;

7) license for ship radio station and radio log (if the vessel is equipped with a ship radio station);

8) ship's logbook;

9) ship's journal;

10) engine logbook (for vessels with mechanical engines);

11) sanitary logbook;

12) ship's sanitary certificate of seaworthiness;

13) other ship documents provided for by international agreements of the Russian Federation, laws and other legal acts of the Russian Federation
