Micronutrients
Micronutrients are food substances (vitamins, minerals and trace elements) that are present in food in very small amounts - milligrams or micrograms. They are not sources of energy, but participate in the digestion of food, regulation of functions, growth processes, adaptation and development of the organism

Micronutrients are essential food substances that are present in food products in small amounts, unlike so-called macronutrients (proteins, fats, carbohydrates), which make up the main volume of food; micronutrients usually include vitamins and minerals (trace elements and macroelements)
