Ginger
Ginger [112] is dried, cleaned rhizomes of the tropical plant Zingiber officinale Rose (from the ginger family). Depending on its use, ginger is produced in pieces, ground or grated. The color of ginger pieces is light gray, while ground and grated ginger has a grayish-yellow color, with a hot-spicy taste.
