GMP Standard
<*> The GMP ("Good Manufacturing Practice", Good Manufacturing Practice) standard - a system of norms, rules and instructions regarding the production of medicinal products, medical devices, diagnostic products, food products, food supplements and active ingredients. Unlike the quality control procedure involving the testing of sample batches of such products, which ensures suitability for use only of these samples (and possibly batches produced at a time close to this batch), the GMP standard reflects an integrated approach since it regulates and evaluates the actual parameters of production and laboratory testing. GMP standards are adopted as mandatory requirements in most developed countries, for example, in the United States, European Union countries and Japan
