Insurance of Liability for Causing Harm
1. Under an insurance contract covering the risk of liability arising from obligations resulting from causing harm to the life, health, or property of other persons, the risk of liability of the policyholder himself or another person who may be held liable for such liability may be insured.
2. The person whose liability for causing damage is insured must be named in the insurance contract. If this person is not named in the contract, it is considered that the risk of liability of the policyholder himself is insured.
3. An insurance contract covering the risk of liability for causing harm is deemed to be concluded in favor of persons who may suffer harm (beneficiaries), even if the contract is concluded in favor of the policyholder or another person liable for causing damage, or it is not stated in whose favor the contract is concluded.
4. In the event that liability for causing damage is insured because such insurance is mandatory, as well as in other cases provided by law or the insurance contract covering such liability, the person in whose favor it is considered that the insurance contract is concluded shall be entitled to directly submit a claim to the insurer for compensation of damage up to the insurance amount
