Passport of a Cultural Heritage Object
1. A passport for a cultural heritage object included in the register is issued by the relevant cultural heritage protection authority to the owner of that object. The passport includes information comprising the protected elements of the cultural heritage object, as well as other information contained in the register.
The form of the cultural heritage object passport is approved by the federal executive body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation.

2. The cultural heritage object passport (the information contained therein) is one of the mandatory documents submitted to the authority responsible for state registration of rights to real estate and transactions therewith, when conducting transactions with a cultural heritage object or a land plot within which an archaeological heritage object is located. The cultural heritage object passport (the information contained therein) is provided by the cultural heritage objects protection authority upon inter-agency request from the authority responsible for state registration of rights to real estate and transactions therewith, during the registration of transactions with a cultural heritage object or a land plot within which an archaeological heritage object is located. At the same time, a person applying for state registration of a transaction involving a cultural heritage object or a land plot within which an archaeological heritage object is located, may submit the cultural heritage object passport at their own initiative.
