Automatic boom gate
Automatic traffic light signaling with automatic barriers is a system in which the movement of barrier arms to the closed (horizontal) position occurs automatically after a calculated time following the train's entry onto the approach section and activation of the sound and traffic light signals. The barrier arms are also moved automatically to the open (vertical) position after the train has cleared the crossing.
