Bicycle with a Suspended Motor

m) the term "motorcycle with a suspended engine" means any two- or three-wheeled vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine having a cylinder volume not exceeding 50 cubic centimeters (3.05 cubic inches), and a maximum constructive speed not exceeding 50 kilometers per hour (30 miles per hour); however, Contracting Parties may not consider vehicles with suspended engines as motorcycles in accordance with their national legislation if these vehicles do not have the characteristics of motorcycles in terms of their usability, particularly the possibility of propelling them by means of pedals, or if they exceed the established limits in terms of maximum constructive speed, weight, or certain engine characteristics. No provision of this definition should be interpreted as preventing Contracting Parties from fully equating motorcycles with suspended engines to motorcycles when applying the provisions of their national legislation relating to road traffic;
