p) the term "automobile" means a mechanical vehicle usually used for transporting people or goods on roads or for towing vehicles used for transporting people or goods on roads. This term includes trolleybuses, i.e., non-rail vehicles connected to an electric wire; it does not include vehicles such as agricultural tractors, where the use for transporting people or goods is merely an auxiliary function;
