United Nations Operation
c) "United Nations operation" means an operation established by a competent organ of the United Nations in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and conducted under the guidance and control of the United Nations:
i) when the operation is carried out for the purpose of maintaining or restoring international peace and security; or
ii) when the Security Council or the General Assembly, for the purposes of this Convention, declares that there exists a special risk to the safety of personnel participating in that operation;
