Industrial enterprises
2. For the purposes of this Convention, the term "industrial enterprises" refers to state-owned and private enterprises, as well as their branches, and includes in particular:
a) mines, quarries and other enterprises of the extractive industry;
b) enterprises engaged in the manufacture, processing, cleaning, repair, decoration, finishing, preparation for sale, dismantling or destruction of manufactured goods, or enterprises engaged in the processing of materials, including shipbuilding enterprises, enterprises engaged in the production, transformation and transmission of electrical energy and motive power generally;
c) construction enterprises engaged in construction, restoration, repair, reconstruction and destruction;
d) transport institutions for the carriage of passengers or goods by road, rail, maritime or inland waterway routes or by air, including handling of cargo in ports, docks, platforms, warehouses or airports.
