Ambassador


Ambassador — the highest official representative of the Russian Federation, accredited in the host state, who ensures the implementation of the foreign policy course of the Russian Federation, protection of national interests, sovereignty, security, territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of its citizens and Russian legal entities in the host state1.

Ambassador — persons holding the state positions of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in a foreign state2.
