The degree of depletion of reserves on a specific subsurface area - for the purposes of this article, is calculated by the taxpayer independently based on data from the approved state balance of mineral reserves as the quotient obtained by dividing the total amount of oil extracted on that subsurface area, including extraction losses (N), by the initial recoverable oil reserves (V) (ceased to be in force as of 2019-05-01)¹.
