Concentrated juice
Concentrated juice is juice produced by physically removing part of the water contained in the direct press juice in order to increase the content of soluble dry substances by at least twice compared to the original direct press juice. During the production of concentrated juice, the process of extracting dry substances from crushed fruits and/or vegetables of the same batch, from which the juice was previously separated, using drinking water may be applied, provided that the product of this extraction is added to the initial juice before the concentration stage within a single continuous technological process. Concentrated juice may have concentrated natural flavoring substances added to it, produced from the corresponding juice or from the corresponding fruits or vegetables1.
