Performance of official duties

Performance of official duties - the performance by an employee of official duties within the limits of his or her authority established by Russian Federation legislation, orders, instructions, and directives from relevant supervisors, as well as the distribution of official duties. An employee is not considered to have performed official duties during the time when he or she committed acts recognized in accordance with the procedures established by the court as socially dangerous, or was under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or toxic substances, or intentionally caused harm to his or her health or committed suicide1.
