Mine — applies to: a) surface areas or underground sites where, in particular, the following types of work are carried out: i) geological exploration of mineral deposits other than oil and gas with mechanical disturbance of the surface; ii) extraction of minerals other than oil and gas; iii) processing of extracted minerals, including crushing, grinding, concentration or washing of extracted materials; and b) to all machinery, equipment, devices, installations, buildings and engineering structures used in connection with the types of work mentioned above in sub-paragraph a)1.
