Expert Examination of Educational and Scientific Equipment

2.1. State scientific and technical expertise of educational equipment, instruments, and teaching aids of academic purpose is a process regulated by the rules established by the Federal Agency for Education, involving experts' investigation of the technical solution, scientific, methodological, cognitive, and pedagogical value of the presented sample of educational equipment, instrument, or teaching aid of academic purpose, in comparison with other similar and alternative samples of educational equipment, instruments, and teaching aids of academic purpose; analysis of technical documentation, culminating in a final conclusion on compliance of the submitted documents or samples with normative and modern requirements of the education system and serving as a basis for issuing a recommendation mark by the Federal Agency for Education on educational equipment, instruments, and teaching aids of academic purpose (hereinafter - recommendation mark)
