System of Technical Operation of Aviation Equipment
1.1.6. The Technical Operation System (TOS) is an ordered set of technical operation norms and rules combined with organizational, production, and functional structures, as well as a package of measures and decisions ensuring their implementation. A component of the TOS for a specific aircraft type includes the following provided for that type of aviation equipment:
- ground facilities, hangars, production buildings;
- technical equipment, ground service means;
- material resources, property.
The main objective of the technical operation system:
- to ensure and fulfill the requirements, technical conditions, and guarantees for safe use of aircraft in accordance with their intended purpose set by the technical documentation;
- to maintain the flight and technical characteristics of the aircraft within the limits established by regulatory documents throughout the specified resource life and service periods
