Inland Waterway Vessel
The term "vessel of small tonnage" means a vessel used exclusively for voyages during which it does not go beyond the nearest ports of neighboring countries from the country of departure, within geographical limits that:
i) are clearly defined by national legislation or collective agreements between shipowners' organizations and seafarers,
ii) are uniform in the application of all provisions of this section of the Convention,
iii) were specified by a member of the Organization in its statement attached to the document of ratification upon registration of that document, and
iv) were established after consultation with other interested members of the Organization
