1. Embezzlement or misappropriation, that is, the theft of property belonging to another person entrusted to the offender, -
shall be punished by a fine in the amount up to one hundred and twenty thousand rubles or in the amount of the offender's salary or other income for a period up to one year, or compulsory work for a term up to two hundred and forty hours, or corrective labor for a term up to six months, or restriction of freedom for a term up to two years, or compulsory labor for a term up to two years, or deprivation of liberty for the same period.

2. The same acts committed by a group of persons acting in concert, as well as causing significant damage to a citizen, -
are subject to a fine of up to three hundred thousand rubles or in the amount of the defendant's salary or other income for a period of up to two years, or compulsory work for a term of up to three hundred and sixty hours, or corrective labor for a term of up to one year, or forced labor for a term of up to five years with restriction of freedom for a term of up to one year or without such restriction, or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to five years with restriction of freedom for a term of up to one year or without such restriction.

3. The same acts committed by a person using his or her official position, or in a large scale, -
shall be punished by a fine in the amount from one hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rubles or in the amount of the offender's salary or other income for a period from one to three years, or deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to five years, or compulsory labor for a term up to five years with restriction of freedom for a term up to one and a half years or without such restriction, or deprivation of liberty for a term up to six years with a fine in the amount up to ten thousand rubles or in the amount of the offender's salary or other income for a period up to one month or without such fine and with restriction of freedom for a term up to one and a half years or without such restriction.

4. Acts provided for by paragraphs 1, 2 or 3 of this article committed by an organized group or in particularly large scale -
shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term up to ten years with a fine in the amount up to one million rubles or in the amount of the convicted person's salary or other income for a period up to three years, or without such a fine, and with restriction of freedom for a term up to two years, or without such a restriction
