The signboard should be located on the building or on that part of the building occupied by the enterprise either as owner or under a lease agreement with the owner. A signboard may be made in the form of a wall panel, bracket, awning, on the glass of a display window or entrance door. It is permitted to display registered trademarks and service marks of this specific enterprise on the signboard, in accordance with established procedures. Any other information placed on the signboard is considered advertising and must be processed in the general procedure. An informational signboard should have a size of 0.7 x 0.5 meters. All economic entities regardless of ownership form are required to register their signboard with the department for consumer market development, advertising, and foreign economic activity, and obtain a Certificate of Registration.
