Environmental insurance: a type of insurance covering civil liability of enterprises, organizations, institutions, and individuals whose activities pose a risk to the surrounding (natural) environment (objects), including damage to the surrounding (natural) environment, as well as the health of citizens and their property resulting from adverse changes, accidents, technological disasters caused by human activity and manifestations of natural phenomena

Environmental insurance (insurance of civil liability for damages caused by emergency pollution of the surrounding natural environment) - insurance of civil liability of enterprises, organizations, and institutions, whose activities pose an increased risk to the surrounding natural environment, for causing damage to citizens and legal entities (third parties, beneficiaries), arising as a result of the impact of pollution caused by accidents and technological disasters that have occurred at these enterprises, in organizations, and institutions, as well as other extraordinary events affecting the surrounding natural environment on the population, economic objects, and territory
