Cocoa - Oil


Cocoa butter (code 1804 00 000 0 of the Russian Customs Tariff) is a fatty substance of light yellow (almost white) color, has a hard and brittle consistency at room temperature, characteristic odor, melts quickly and completely in the mouth without any residual waxy aftertaste. It can be distinguished as natural cocoa butter and deodorized (subjected to additional processing).

Cocoa butter is used as a fat base for producing various confectionery products, as well as in the perfume and pharmaceutical industries.

The largest global producers of cocoa products are the following companies: "ADM", "Barry Callebaut", "Cargill", "Scho-Ka-Kola", "Indocresia", "Nederland", "Tea Sekawan", "Portem", "Herken's Cocoa"
