Concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances
Concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances are obtained during the production of concentrated juice in the form of liquid distillates, as well as during processing using physical methods of fruits and (or) vegetables in the form of liquid extracts or infusions using water, carbon dioxide, or food-grade ethyl alcohol, which act as solvents in concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances and are not released as a component of the aroma from fruits or vegetables and (or) juices derived from them. In certain cases, during the production of concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances, propylene glycol may be used as a technological aid. Concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances do not belong to either flavorings or food additives1.
Concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances — liquid products containing natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances produced using physical methods from the corresponding fruits or vegetables and (or) their juices in amounts exceeding their natural content in fruits or vegetables or their juices by at least four times. Concentrated natural flavoring fruit or vegetable substances are intended for restoring the taste and aroma of fruit and (or) vegetable juices, as well as for producing other juice products from fruits and (or) vegetables2.
