Le traitement automatisé — comprend les opérations suivantes si elles sont effectuées en totalité ou partiellement à l'aide de moyens automatisés : stockage des données, exécution d'opérations logiques et/ou arithmétiques sur ces données, leur modification, suppression, extraction ou diffusion (version originale dans le texte de l'acte : «includes the following operations if carried out in whole or in part by automated means: storage of data, carrying out of logical and/or arithmetical operations on those data, their alteration, erasure, retrieval or dissemination»)1.
