b) "Specimen" means:
i) any animal or plant, whether live or dead;
ii) with respect to an animal: for a species included in Appendices I and II, any easily recognizable part or derivative thereof, and for a species included in Appendix III, any easily recognizable part or derivative thereof as specified in Appendix III regarding species; and
iii) with respect to a plant: for a species included in Appendix I, any easily recognizable part or derivative thereof, and for a species included in Appendices II and III, any easily recognizable part or derivative thereof as specified in Appendices II and III regarding species.
