Banking operations


Banking operations include:

1) attracting funds from individuals and legal entities in deposits (on demand and for a specified period);

2) placing the funds attracted as referred to in paragraph 1 of part one of this article, at their own expense and in their own name;

3) opening and maintaining bank accounts of individuals and legal entities;

4) performing transfers of funds on behalf of individuals and legal entities, including correspondent banks, to their bank accounts;

5) collection of funds, bills, payment and settlement documents, and cash handling for individuals and legal entities;

6) buying and selling foreign currency in cash and non-cash forms;

7) attracting deposits and placing precious metals;

8) issuing bank guarantees;

9) carrying out money transfers without opening bank accounts, including electronic money transfers (excluding postal transfers)
