confectionery product - food product having predominantly sweet taste, diverse in shape, composition, consistency, structure and aroma;

Confectionery product: multi-component food product ready for consumption, having a specific predetermined shape, obtained as a result of technological processing of main types of raw materials - sugar and (or) flour, and (or) fats, and (or) cocoa products, with or without the addition of food ingredients, food additives and flavorings.
Notes
1. Confectionery products are divided into the following groups: chocolate, cocoa, sugar confectionery products, flour-based confectionery products.
2. Confectionery products - powdered chocolate, cocoa powder, paste, cream - do not have a specific predetermined shape.
3. In confectionery products and confectionery semi-finished products, sugar can be completely or partially replaced by sweetener (for dietetic products)
